Face mask

For a smooth and radiant skin mix two portions of Amla powder with rose water and apply it on face then let it dry and wash it off. And also alternately you can mix honey and yogurt or curd, leave it for 15 or 20 mins. Then wash it off with cold water.

Eat it raw

Raw amla is the best way to take all the nutrition inside the amla. But as we all know that it is quite bitter and little bit hard to digest. Still few people take it by dipping it in honey or sprinkling some masala in it, so that it can be more palatable. Note it carefully that one should wash it before having. We can also take it by crushing or converting into juice.

Ways to apply amla on hair

You will need amla powder and lemon juice

Mix 1tbsp of Amla powder and lemon juice in a bowl and then using it massage your hair for about 5 to 6 minutes. Cover all your hair and scalp. Leave it for 15 mins and wash it off with lukewarm water. One should apply it 2-3 times in a fortnight.

Curry leaves and amla oil for hair growth

We will use 1 cup of coconut oil and heat it. Then add chopped amla and curry leaves. Leave the oil aside to cool for 15-20 minutes. Pour the oil in the jar so that the amla and curry leaves get separated from the oil. Massage with it for 15 minutes covering all hair and scalp. Now wait for additional 10 minutes and wash the oil with mild shampoo and lukewarm water.
